จุดเริ่มต้นของวงลาลานั้นเริ่มมาจากผม(พีท)ที่ชวนไปป์มาทำวงด้วยกัน เนื่องจากผมและไปป์รู้จักกันมาตั้งแต่สมัยมัธยมโรงเรียนเดียวกัน เล่นดนตรีด้วยกันมา เคยเล่นอยู่วงเดียวกันตอนสมัยมัธยม และก็แยกมาทำวงกัน ไปป์ทำวง The Orange Rolls กับตวน (Gardener Twins ,Cloud Behind) เพื่อนร่วมโรงเรียนเดียวกัน และผมทำ จริญตนาใก กับเพื่อนๆจากศิลปากร

เมื่อถึงจุดหนึ่งก็อยากทำวงกับมันอีกผมก็เลยชวนไปป์ทำวง เกิดเป็นวงลาลาขึ้นมา โดยแรกเริ่มได้ลองแจมกับนักดนตรีรุ่นราวคราวเดียวกันมากมายในห้องซ้อมเพื่อค้นหาซาวด์ดนตรีที่จะออกมาจากการแจมกับคนที่แตกต่างกัน แล้วอัดเก็บไว้เป็นไอเดียในการทำเพลง โดยในการซ้อมปัจจุบัน ต้องขอบคุณขุน (Two Milion Thanks) มากครับที่มาช่วยรังสรรค์วงนี้

LALA start from me(Pete) told Pipe to make band together because me and pipe are friend since we are study HighSchool in same school we was make band together in high school and split-out to make each own band , pipe make the orange rolls with our friend from same highschool TUAN(gardener twin,Cloud Behind) and me make Jryntanakai with my friend from silpakorn
at one point i want to make music with him(Pipe) again i told him to make new band together it became to this band lala. at the beginning to make this band we jam/improvisation with many musician’s friends in rehearsal room for search sound and idea to make our music and we record it for idea to make our music

  ชื่อลาลามีที่มาจากความเรียบง่ายในการออกเสียง และยังหมายถึงลาที่เป็นสัตว์ด้วย มันดูโง่ๆง่ายๆ แต่ก็ทำให้รู้สึกถึงการอยากรู้อยากลองที่ไม่สิ้นสุดดี นั่นหมายถึงดนตรีของเราที่จะมีได้ทั้งสนุกและน่าเบื่อ ทดลองและไม่ทดลอง เพราะและไม่เพราะ มีทั้งขอบเขตและไร้ขอบเขต แล้วแต่คนจะมอง
